Tattoo Course

Join the waiting list

This is already the 6th edition of our tattoo course for beginners! Sign up for the waiting list and be the first to know when enrollment opens.

We start with an intensive 6-day training in the studio, and then for several months you’ll continue developing your practical skills – under the guidance of the instructor or remotely. This isn’t a weekend crash course – it’s a long-term process that gives you real foundations for a career in tattooing.

The course takes place in a small group, with full support and an individual approach. For the best students, we offer internships, and eventually a spot in the Leśny Szept team.

Fill out a short application form, and we’ll notify you as soon as registration starts.

Why most courses don’t work?

Most tattoo courses in Poland last only a few days and end before you even have time to unpack your machine. You pay a few thousand zlotys, get a handful of theory, a few exercises on fake skin… and that’s it – no support, no plan for what’s next.Sounds familiar?

They often lack real practice, contact with a working studio, and an approach tailored to the student's level. And learning to tattoo from scratch is a process – you can’t master it in a weekend. Yet many people after such courses still don’t know how to set up a workstation, handle hygiene, choose the right needle, or create their own design.

It’s not your fault – it’s just a broken system. That’s why we do it differently.

Why our course?

Because we’re not doing it for a quick buck. If you decide during the course that tattooing isn’t for you, you don’t have to pay for the rest of the course. We run it to build a close-knit, well-prepared team of people we actually want to work with. That’s why the course lasts several months, not just a few hours – you learn in a real studio, step by step – from theory and designing patterns, through hygiene and equipment, to working on human skin.

You get our full support, tools, feedback, and specific tasks. For those who truly commit, we offer internships – and sometimes even a spot on our team. It’s not just a course. It’s the start of a new path.

What does our course look like?

1

Day 1 – Introduction to tattooing

You start with the basics: who a tattoo artist is, how to talk to clients, how to maintain hygiene and safety. You’ll also practice hand stability, setting up a workstation, and the fundamentals of tattoo design.
2

Day 2 – Theory, machine & demo

You learn how the machine works, the types of needles, tattooing rules, and basic anatomy. The instructor performs a demo tattoo on a client, and you begin your first exercises on fake skin.
3

Day 3 – Drawing and technique

You solidify knowledge from previous days, work on your own designs on fake skin, and practice with different needle types. There’s lots of practice, consultations, and individual feedback.
4

Day 4 – Tattooing fruit + theory

You practice tattooing on fruit and fake skin, prepare for the theory test, and learn more about shading, pigments, and common mistakes that can ruin a tattoo.
5

Day 5 – Exams and final tweaks

You take the theory exam and the practical test (setting up and breaking down your station). You also finalize your designs, practice, and prepare for tattooing real skin.
6

Day 6 – Your first tattoo

If you’ve passed the exams – you’ll do your first tattoo on a model. The instructor will guide and oversee each step to ensure it’s safe and technically sound. Afterward – you’ll receive your certificate. If you’re not ready or didn’t pass – no worries. You can do it later during the extended learning phase.
7

Four months of continued learning

The course doesn’t end after six days. For the next few months, you can come to the studio, watch our team at work, practice, send in your pieces for feedback, use materials, and ask questions. You’ll see how a real studio works, how artists handle clients, and what happens behind the scenes.
8

Internships at Leśny Szept

Top students may get the chance to do a 3-month unpaid internship at our studio. You’ll work with us, keep learning, and keep growing.
9

A chance to join the team

If we click and your style fits – we may offer you a job. Many of our students became part of the Leśny Szept crew. Maybe you’ll be next?

A tattoo course that pays off

Most tattoo courses cost over 6000 PLN and last 3–5 days. That’s up to 200 PLN per hour. At our course, for the same price you learn for several months – with real access to the studio, materials, and your instructor.

It comes out to less than 10 PLN per hour of training. No joke. And on top of that, you get:

  • individual support
  • the ability to get feedback on your work
  • a final exam and certificate
  • and a chance at internships and a job at the studio

This isn’t a “weekend workshop.” It’s a real path to becoming a tattoo artist.

It’s a perfect option if someone close to you dreams of becoming a tattoo artist but lacks the courage, motivation, or funds. The voucher is valid for one year from purchase, so it’s fully flexible – no pressure for a quick start date.

If you decide it’s not your thing – you can stop after this part and don’t have to pay the rest. The 1500 PLN deposit covers your participation in this phase of the course. Better to find out now than regret never trying.
