- Other inflammatory conditions, fever, weakness
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, menstruation
- Treatment with isotretinoin or other medications aimed at treating acne
- Tattoo pricing is determined individually in each case and depends on factors such as:
- the size of the tattoo area,
- the complexity and difficulty of the design,
- the number of changes to the design,
- the number of hours required to complete the tattoo,
- the time needed to create the design,
- the quantity and coverage area of colors used in the tattoo,
- the location on the body.
- The pricing is determined by the Studio or the Employee who will perform the service.
- The contract for performing a tattoo or piercing is concluded at the moment the deposit is paid and subsequently signed by both Parties.
- The estimated price provided to the Client at the time of signing the tattoo agreement may change during the course of the service.
- On the day of signing the tattoo agreement, the Client is obliged to pay a deposit ranging from PLN 150 to PLN 300 (depending on the planned length of the tattoo session). The deposit amount will be credited toward the remuneration due to the Contractor.
- When sending the deposit to the Studio’s bank account, the Client is required to include in the transfer title, in order: their first name; the name or nickname of the person who will perform the service; and the date (day, month, and year) of the service. If the Client fails to include any of the above information in the transfer title, the Studio will treat such transfer as a voluntary donation to a charitable activity selected by the Studio. Donations will be forwarded to the chosen Foundation on the last day of the quarter.
- The deposit is a fee that guarantees the reservation of an appointment with a specific Studio Team Member for the tattoo design previously chosen by the Client. The Client is obliged to agree on the planned size, appearance, and placement of the design with the Service Provider before paying the deposit.
Therefore, if the Client changes the tattoo concept before the session, the deposit is forfeited. To schedule a visit at the previously agreed or a different date (depending on whether the Tattoo Artist can perform a different tattoo concept on the scheduled day), a new deposit must be paid.
If the Client changes the concept on the day of the tattoo due to the need for a new design, the Tattoo Artist must collect a deposit equal to the amount previously paid by the Client to the Studio’s account.
In case the Client does not show up for the scheduled session, the deposit is forfeited.
- To reserve the appointment for the Client until the transfer is credited, the Client is obligated to send the payment confirmation to the person accepting the order. In case of a forged payment confirmation, the Studio is obliged to report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
- The tattoo design is created individually for each Client. The design (excluding “free designs” offered by the Tattoo Artists) is presented to the Client on the scheduled tattoo day. On that day, the Tattoo Artist commits to making changes to the design or, if necessary, creating a new one together with the Client.
Tattoo Artists at Leśny Szept Studio do not replicate works of other tattoo artists or graphics. If, despite the Tattoo Artist’s efforts, the design does not satisfy the Client, the tattoo session may be canceled. In such a case, the deposit is forfeited.
- The Client is obligated to pay the full price for the tattoo or piercing no later than on the day the procedure is performed. Payment can be made at the Studio on the day of the scheduled appointment or by bank transfer. In the case of electronic payment, the Tattoo Artist or Piercer will commence the service only upon presentation of the payment confirmation.
- If the tattoo requires multiple sessions (more than one), the remuneration due will be determined separately for each session. The Client shall be obligated to pay the fee for each session in advance, no later than on the day the session is performed.
- If the Client fails to appear at the Studio on the scheduled date, the Contractor may withdraw from the Agreement without setting an additional deadline. In such a case, the Contractor shall retain the deposit received.
- If the Client does not specify the exact time when booking an appointment for a given day, the Studio Employee has the right to schedule the Client for the first available time slot on that day. All available times and appointments can be found in the “highlighted stories” of the Employees, as well as the Studio’s Instagram “Available Slots” highlight.
If the Client fails to appear at the scheduled time on the appointed day, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Clients are required to arrive at the Studio at the specified date and time. If a Client booked for a tattoo appointment is more than 20 minutes late, this will be considered a cancellation of the appointment (and the deposit will be forfeited), or, if the Tattoo Artist decides that despite the delay they can still perform their work with due precision and without harming other Clients scheduled that day, the Client will be obligated to pay an additional fee of PLN 100 on the day of the appointment, immediately after the service is performed.
- Clients are required to arrive at the Studio at the specified date and time. If a Client booked for a piercing appointment is more than 15 minutes late, this will be considered a cancellation of the appointment (and the deposit will be forfeited), or, if the Piercer decides that despite the delay they can still perform their work with due precision and without affecting other Clients scheduled that day, the Client will be obligated to pay an additional fee of PLN 50 on the day of the appointment, immediately after the service is performed.
- Before proceeding with the tattoo or piercing procedure, the Client is obligated to inform the Studio about any illnesses, skin changes (both permanent and temporary), as well as any other health issues, inflammations, fever, or medications being taken that may contraindicate the performance of the tattoo or piercing.
- Out of respect for the Studio Team’s work and other Clients, please do not enter the Studio earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If a Client arrives earlier, they will not be allowed inside. Due to COVID-19, we strive to minimize the number of people present in the Studio at any given time.
- Before entering the Studio, Clients are required to put on disposable protective shoe covers provided at the entrance. Clients without shoe covers will not be served.
- It is prohibited to touch any objects used for tattooing or piercing, auxiliary materials, or to spread personal belongings of the Client on the Tattoo Artist’s workstation.
- The Studio is not responsible for any belongings left on the premises.
- The Studio provides all necessary information regarding the healing and care of the performed tattoo or piercing. The Client is obligated to follow the recommendations and guidelines of the Tattoo Artist. If the Client fails to comply with these recommendations, any tattoo touch-ups will be subject to an additional fee, determined individually with the Client each time.
- The Studio is not responsible for the Client’s failure to follow care instructions during the tattoo or piercing healing process, nor is it liable for how the pigments behave on the body due to the naturally variable healing process.
- As part of the agreed remuneration, the Studio does not provide tattoo or piercing aftercare products. The Client is responsible for purchasing aftercare products independently.
- The Tattoo Artist may discontinue the procedure if they observe a deterioration in the Client’s condition or changes in the skin’s structure.
- Both the Tattoo Artist and the Client may pause the tattoo procedure, due to its length and complexity, for rest, attending to physiological needs, or having a meal.
- The Tattoo Artist is not obligated to provide meals to the Client during lengthy tattoo sessions.
- Eating is prohibited in the treatment room. Meals may only be consumed in the designated dining area.
- The Tattoo Artist may refuse to perform the tattoo, in particular, if:
- the Tattoo Artist believes that performing the procedure poses a risk to the health of the Client or the Tattoo Artist;
- the Tattoo Artist observes symptoms of an illness in the Client that prevent the tattoo procedure;
- there are other contraindications to performing the tattoo, such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menstruation;
- the Client is under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances;
- the Client is aggressive, violates the Studio Regulations, or otherwise obstructs the tattoo procedure.
- The tattoo or piercing procedure involves the Client experiencing pain of varying intensity.
- There is an option to administer pain relief. The cost of a topical anesthetic cream (to be applied before the session) is PLN 100, the cost of an anesthetic spray (which can be used during the session) is PLN 100, and a package of both anesthetics is PLN 150.
- The tattoo or piercing procedure involves breaking the skin’s surface, which carries the risk of infection with viruses such as hepatitis B and C, which can damage the liver.
- If the design is provided by the Client, the Client declares that they hold the proprietary copyrights to its use and that the tattoo design does not infringe upon the personal or proprietary copyrights of third parties, including rights to likeness and personal rights of third parties, and that it is free from any encumbrances or restrictions of a proprietary or contractual nature as well as any legal or physical defects.
- The Client consents to the Contractor’s use of materials documenting the completed tattoo or piercing, including photos of the tattoo or piercing, particularly on social media. The Studio reserves the copyrights to all photographs and works created. The Client does not have the right to transfer the tattoo design created for them for any form of reuse or reproduction without entering into a separate licensing agreement with the Studio.
- A tattoo is an artistic craft, and its final result may differ from the presented design.
- If the Client cancels the appointment, if it turns out on-site that the service cannot be performed due to their fault, or if the Client fails to appear at the scheduled time, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Touch-ups for tattoos done at the Studio are free of charge if the Client notifies the Tattoo Artist of any imperfections directly after the tattoo has healed (no later than one and a half months after the service) and subsequently schedules a correction appointment. The touch-up appointment must take place within one month of reporting the issue to the Tattoo Artist.
- Tattoo touch-ups are subject to a fee in the following cases:
- The Tattoo Artist determines that the need for touch-ups results from the Client’s fault (e.g., poor aftercare);
- The Client requests a touch-up after one and a half months have passed since the service;
- The tattoo was done on hands, feet, fingers, elbows, or lips;
- There is a need to reinforce white ink;
- The Client approved the design, and after the stencil transfer raised no objections, but after the tattoo was done notices errors directly related to cases such as incorrect text translation, grammatical, stylistic, or spelling mistakes.
- If the Client fails to appear for the scheduled tattoo touch-up or piercing replacement appointment, or cancels the visit less than 2 weeks before the planned date, the Client will incur additional costs.
In case of missing a free tattoo touch-up appointment, the Client will be required to pay PLN 150 on the day the touch-up is rescheduled.
In case of missing a piercing replacement appointment, the Client will be charged PLN 50 plus the cost of the replacement jewelry. - Complaints
